| Dear Kimmy Sounds like you are on the right track! Chicken can be grilled as well--season it with salt and pepper, cover it with mustard and grill until done (which means all the pink is gone). Then place it in an oven-proof dish, cover with your barbecue sauce, and keep the dish on the grill until you're ready to serve. Vegetables: asparagus grilled with olive oil, salt & pepper. I like mine a bit charred. Also, you can wrap baking potatoes in foil after you cover them with olive oil and s/p. Just roast them on the grill about an hour, or until they're soft. Serve with butter and sour cream--they are outasight! Id serve corn too, grilled in the husk until charred. And for dessert: sliced chilled peaches. Your wine sounds great. Maybe also some port with coffee after the peaches. I don't think you need a red but you could serve a Pino Noir ENJOY!!! Peace and Love, Curtis PS Can I come? Of course, I don't eat chicken, so please grill some eggplant for me!
