Letters To Curtis - Responses

Thank you for your letters!
Below is your personalized response from Curtis!

Dear Ryan,

Thank you so much for your wonderful letter. I'm glad you're excited about going to school. But you should be aware that any school experience will involve reading and writing (and even a little math - I do math all the time to figure out the ingredietns in my recipes). I can tell by your letter that you have what it takes - reading and writing are just a matter of practicing. The more you do it, the easier it gets!! I know that, in your case, with dyslexia, it's a special challenge. But there are places and people who can give you the help you need. Make sure that you tell your college that you have special needs. My experience is, that schools will do anything they can to help you out and encourage yoru academic succes.

As far as my visiting Cincinnati - I'm there quite often, actually, so keep checking my website. We always post my upcomming events in the Meet Curtis Aikens section. There's a good chance that I'll be comign to Louisville in late September so keep watching.

It means alot to me that you shared your story. Keep writing!

Peace,
Curtis
